Chief Operations Officer

Min Nolan

Min is COO at firstminute working closely with the investment and platform teams and leading on everything non-investment.

Starting out as a tax lawyer (with a side of art law), Min became convinced that blockchain was the solution to many of the legal issues she dealt with, and that AI or robots or both were coming for her career. Concerned for her future, she made the leap into tech, starting up an edge computing company with operations across the US, Africa and Europe. From there Min joined firstminute, heading up the platform team via time on the investment team and a secondment with one of the portfolio companies to build up a true sense of firstminute from the inside out and shape how best to build the most helpful platform in Europe. As COO, her role includes oversight of the operations, legal, people and platform functions, fundraising and LP engagement, and working with the partners on strategic decisions for the fund.

Min is always up for a conversation about ways to help our founders and the wider community. When not thinking about that, she can be found eating (ideally home cooked peranakan food), trying to un-teach her toddler CFC football chants; trekking up mountains and skiing down (despite vertigo) or in the sea (10% surf; 90% being pummelled by tiny waves). Min is a UK qualified lawyer (GDL and LPC from BPP) and graduated with a first class degree from Oxford University (Worcester college).
